Notifications...badges and alerts

What about 'alerts' ?

I am using a VoIP app called Line2 which sends me an alert/popup
each time I get a text on ipad2.

How about an app that can control this?

To clarify Graywolf's answer, if you go to settings/notifications and then select the specific apps you want to control, you are given the option of turning on or off sounds, alerts, and badges.

I checked 'Notifications' and while I did find a number of my apps
I did not find the one I am looking to control, Line2

Is this more a ipad issue or Line2?


Any thoughts on a work-around?

I removed fb from iPad and iPhone the thing drove me crazy lol

Haha, I just removed notifications from them. I still keep the apps though.
