I recently purchased a new Ipad m5, 11 inch and was to trade in my older pro. Gave all the info and was told $60 trade in credit. Well the new one was shipped and tracking showed it to local distribution center and on truck for delivery but it never made it. Went round and round with UPS and Apple and finally Apple refunded my purchase price as I was to be out of town and I did not want a replacement sent when I was not too be home. They also cancelled the trade in, which was fine.
I finally got home and reordered and entered trade info and it reducced by $10, wonder why for two weeks later. Anyway, got the new one which is great and sent my old one in and they said it was not worth anything had scratches on back and display was damaged and delaminated. They sent it back and I examined it closely, even with a magnifying glass and absolutely no scratches. It had been in a ZUGU case since I first got it. As for delamination, that was the edge of a glass screen saver not the actual display.
I suppose I will give it to my grandson for a backup for his. as it is literally in perfect condition other than being a couple of generations old.
