Not possible to add new contact to google account

I try to sync my and my girlfriends iPad with different google accounts. I struggle with some problems. When I add a new contact on the iPads I does not sync with the account. Adding a contact on the web it syncs with the iPad. Editing contacts seems to work fine both ways ... I use exchange.

Anyone can help?
