No Power on iPad

After replacing digitizer iPad won't turn on and no sign of charging. Ipad was turned off before replacing the digitizer... Any help? iPad is the A1822. Thanks

Your iPad is a 5 th generation WiFi only iPad.
Did the iPad turn on and charge normally before you replaced the digitizer?

Are you certain the lcd was plugged in properly prior to reassembly?
Also check for a faint image with a bright flashlight against the lcd. It’s possible the backlight isn’t functioning

Connecting the screen without disconnecting the battery first can blow the backlight inverter, causing what @Brian 244 described.
