I just got a 64 gig wifi 3g, (shipped from China 3.5 days ago). I've been reading threads and I cant get it to do anything. It came with NO INSTRUCTIONS. When I click what seems to be the on switch I get a usb plug with an arrow over it pointing to a blue circle with a musical note and itunes written under it. After about 15 seconds it turns itself off. Help :(

That information on the screen means you need to plug your iPad into your PC (ensure there's an up-to-date version of the free iTunes software on it) and perform an initial synchronisation. iTunes will set up your iPad with your email accounts, Contacts, web page favourites and so on.

The manual is here.....

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
