New to Ipad use in the classroom

Hello fellow Ipad devotees,
I have been given an Ipad for my birthday in August of 2013 and want to learn how to integrate the ipad with my laptop and deploy learning in my highschool classroom.
We have 3 ipads already in my family with all 3 members using their ipads for all sorts of entertainment. I however, would like to integrate the ipad into my teaching as well as use it for entertainment.
I look forward to checking out what is happening on the forum!
