New smart covers and cases announced for the iPad Air and iPad mini

Since the new iPads come with different dimensions, this calls for Apple to release new covers and cases for them. Of course, you can buy them from third-party case makers, as well, and some of them have actually produced them without ever seeing the new iPads, relying on rumor and leaks and connections with the iPad producing factories.

Appl has announced the $39 Smart Cover and the $79 Smart Case; they will have the same price for both iPad models. The $79 Smart Case is made out of leather and serves as for complete protection of your iPad since the Smart Cover only protects the screen. Both cases will be available to order starting on November 1. Apple will also sell a Product Red version, but there are no details yet regarding its pricing and availability.
