Can anyone advice on whch App of iOS may be able to place Regular calls?

I only know Talkatone which is location based.

Then there's Viber, but contacts also need Viber

Hopefully others will chime in or a search of the App Store should yield some.

It's all I got. ;)

There is quite a choice out there mike. It all depends on the type of book for topics.

Then if the book is out of copyright - say over 80 years old as a rule of thumb - you can obtain copies from providers such as Google Books and Project Gutenberg. These providers are accessible via Safari. Then there may be titles available as eBooks through the Apple store.

You normally download books into the iBooks app where you can organise your downloads into folders of your own making.

It is also possible to load the Kindle app into your iPad.

HTH, and welcome to the forum.
