New ipad owner

I have a problem with apps. one line of my apps has gone below the line which safari etc. is on and the apps on that page will not work. would like a suggestion to help solve this.
I am a new member here and hope to find some answers to any problems I may have.

Possibly the apps are on the next page. When on the Home screen use your finger to 'flick' the screen to the left - you'll find there is another screen to the right (and left) of the Home screen.
