NBC Launches New iPad App

[FONT=&quot]NBCUniversal Digital Entertainment President Vivi Zigler today announced the launch of the new NBC App for iPad in the App Store. [/FONT]

“Our new NBC.com App for iPad is consistent with our commitment to personalizing the fan experience and offering unique and engaging content,†said Zigler. “Now our users can access their favourite features and utilize the new customizable dashboard wherever they are.â€

[FONT=&quot]The new app gives fans access to content from their favourite NBC shows and features thousands of video clips and highlights, including some of the best SNL digital shorts from the past. The new app also features preview clips from NBC shows, photos, recaps of the latest series episodes, creative games, previews of upcoming shows and much more. Unfortunately it doesn’t feature full shows though, although the “at this time†caveat in the App Store blurb for the app is a hint that it will possibly eventually feature full episodes. [/FONT]
