My horse quest painter ariel

Have the game my horse, and I'm stuck on the quest painter ariel. I need to plait it's mane and tail and clip it's coat, but I can't find anywhere to do it. Where is this option?

This is a Horse Care Task in the Horse Care sub category I believe.

Open the journal and it's the 4th tab from the left.
