We've just changed our Software which our forum runs on so we are now all learning how it works. If you open a thread (like this one) or post in any thread, you will be automatically subscribed to those threads. Up the top right, you will see your Avatar, Inbox and Alerts. When new posts are done in these threads you will see a red notification pop up on your Alert tab. Just press this and it will load with the thread, tap it and you will be taken to that thread. You can also subscribe to any thread that interests you....at the top of the thread, you will see Watch Thread, just tap this and an option box will pop up asking if you would like an email sent whenever anyone does do a new post in your subscribed threads.
There are also tabs along the top, one of which is Watched Threads, these are all the threads that you have subscribed to.
If you want to save anything just press and hold on what you want to save, and a Select, Select all and paste options will be shown or Copy/Define options. You will notice small blue circles, press on these to expand the area that you would like to save, once you have it, press copy. This can then be Pasted in other apps eg...Notes, Evernote etc. by pressing on an area to bring up the Paste option, press paste and it will appear.
You can also take a screen shot of what interests you. Press the start button (top button) and Home button (round button at bottom of iPad) simultaneously, you will hear the camera shutter go off.....you can then go to your photos app and view these in your camera roll.
