micro system compatability

The question is worded in such I way that I have doubts that many will have suggestions for you. Can you go into more detail about what you are looking for? Why do you want to use a CD with an iPad and what is a micro hifi system? Do you want to play music through a stereo system from your iPad? Or something else?

... or are you looking for a BT mini/micro stereo system with a CD player that you can use for your iPad audio also?

we want a new micro hifi system that you can dock your ipad,iphone or ipod on. We have found 2 that are compatible with the ipad 1..Philips DCB 2020/10 or Philips DCM 3060
but cannot find either in stock anywhere and were just wondering if anyone knows of any other makes/models that are compatible..thanks for the replies.We do still want to play CD's!

If the system has an aux input you can always get a cable or bluetooth adaptor. It's a bit more trouble, and a bit more expense, but it might be worth it if you're not finding a made-for-iPad unit that you like.
