Long story short, I work in a repair shop that handles Apple products.
A friend of mine recently sent us an iPad Pro 12.9 2020 to repair. No big deal, we do a handful of these a week.
He texts me this morning asking if its done yet.
I said, "Yeah, I just finished it. The adhesive needs to set, but that only takes an hour or so...When are you going to come pick it up?"
He replies with "Oh, don't worry about my picking it up. Its already paid for, and its yours now. I got a replacement last night."
Cue my mouth hanging open.
I cannot wait to use this thing daily.
