But I do have questions and problems. Many times when I use YouTube it gives the message, "Video playing on your TV" which is weird because I have never attempted to connect to my TV and I can't figure out how to get it back to the iPad.

Hi there and welcome.

It sounds as if it thinks it is connecting via AirPlay, see if you can find the AirPlay button (I've attached an image from another app so you can see what it looks like) press it and select iPad if it gives you the option, let us know how you get on.





There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
