lost photo albums

I had previously synced all my photo albums from my pc to may ipad. Everything was great. I had one photo album that didn't transfer because it was in my desktop. So I resynced changing location to desktop from picture library. Now I only see that one new folder from the desltop on my ipads Photo file. ???? helpppp

Sounds to me it did what you asked it to do.
You should of left the path as-is and moved/copied the desktop photos to the pic library, then synched.
