Hi
I'm in the mid-atlantic and really like your news and forum.
I always run in to things I need to know about this IPad .
I always have been a pc guy but things change and I think this IPad is the perfect way to go for me.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Apple - Support - Manuals

It’s free too.

Thanks Tim and Spink10

I really like my ipad.It is the perfect product for me and the battery is great.
I spent at least 4 hours on it yesterday and today have 40 percent left.
My only problem (not really a problem) is I can't connect to my modem in N only.
Not a big deal cause the Wifi has worked flawlessly since I bought it.
In another thread I found it doesn't have a full fledged N antenna anyway.
Thanks for the welcome

Yes - I agree - the battery life is the iPad's secret weapon. When I had my laptop I was constantly searching for power outlets - if I went into Starbucks I was one of those junkies who 'hovered' waiting for the seats by those outlets and thinking ...WHY ARE THOSE PEOPLE sitting by the power outlets THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A LAPTOP!!! Now I don't even bother...
