I posted in the New Member Introductions thread by mistake. So sorry...

I will re-post it here:

Although wise (being owl-lish) about many things, I am clueless about iPads. I joined because I'm sure that I will have many questions. I lurked for quite a while before I joined because I wanted to see if this was a friendly place. It is, and it seems to be very well run.

I'm new to Apple "stuff" but I caved and ordered an iPad2 from the Apple Store. It is due to arrive mid June, or so. I'm very excited because tablets seem to be the wave of the future and I wanted to see what all the hub-bub is about.

I do hope to make friends here and to contribute as well.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.
