iTunes movies or play via iCloud

Lately I've been having some iTunes movies problems, this most recent one is the worst though. When I try to play one of my purchased movies it will open and then automatically close again, I've tried to restart the iPad and it doesn't help. These aren't rented movies, they're ones that I have bought and paid for. I am on Wi-Fi and don't see any other reason this should not be working
