Itunes accounts on ipad2

My laptop broke a few weeks ago and my hubby decided to get me an iPad to replace it until I get my new Mac book but due to not been able to access my iTunes , he set up the iPad using his account ! Can I change that now or do I need to keep it ?

I haven't actually done that so others may chime in with some additional information and/or tips.
