As the previous poster suggested, absolutely there is!!

The Skype version is actually an iPhone app, but it works just fine on the iPad - even the video works on the iPad2. There are plenty of threads on iPad Forum about Members' experiences with this app, but the bottom line is that it works just fine.

No Skype for iPad yet. Since Microsoft owns Skype now it might disappear from the face of the Earth.

There is skype app. Search in appstore and search for skype as keyword. And yes we have to wait what microsoft is going to do with skype. But i think ms doing more and more woth cloud solutions instead of their own products as messinger, msn, live communicator. We have to wait but seems ms is focussing on cloud solutions.
