What a difference in music quality the iPad and iTouch have, its horrible. I have an iPod 6th generation 80Gb I carry for music. I can adjust it for just about every genre. My iPad 3, even my new iTouch 5 totally stink! There is no adjustments to them at all, (besides volume) I have to rely on an external sound system to get the quality sound my iPod 6 gave me right out of the box. I didn't expect my ipod to last forever so I purchased the newer stuff. Although they excel in many areas they definitely don't where the music is concerned. Anyone have an idea on some apps that might fix this problem? Any experience with them?

Have you opened 'Settings' and gone to 'Music'... There is an EQ option. Click on that and you can set all sort of stuff.. (Bass boost, Bass reducer, Treble booster etc). You need to have the EQ option on to use these audio settings.

Great, glad to have helped... The sound settings aren't that easy to find. I had my iPad1 for almost a year before I came across them :)
