Ipad2 earphone

Hi all,

I am a new apple user. It's a great experience with a ipad2. However I am trying to find out do I need special headphones for the iPad 2? Sorry it is a basic question!

I don't use earphones but I have heard that any will work.

You do not need "special " headphones. Any headphones with a 3.5mm jack will work
