Ipad went black and will not turn back on

Assuming it has simply not run out of charge, how old is this iPad?

It's about 5 yrs old maybe less can't quite remember

@ Jag1964 - look at the bottom back of your iPad and retrieve the model number typically starting with an 'A.....' (see first pic and may need a magnifying device), then compare to the chart below (Source) and tell us which one you own. Dave
