Does anyone know how to record an iPad screen? Is there an app for it? (not asking about screenshot)

Yes, push both the home button and power button at same time and release. Screenshot will be placed in your photo folder.

Edit: Duh, you said not the screenshot. No idea about that then.

If your ipad is jailbroken then look into DisplayRecorder from cydia.
