iPad Pro Production to Begin in September

We are currently experiencing the calm before the storm, as Apple gears up to unveil the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus in September. However, as Apple’s history tells us, shortly after the company is expected to hold yet another event for the iPad line.

One rumor, which has been around for ages, is a mythical larger iPad under the rumored moniker “iPad Pro”. On Thursday, a new report from Digitimes claims that iPad Pro will begin production in September, with mass production beginning October.

The report mentions that the iPad Pro will sport a 12.9-inch display, manufactured by Sharp. The units produced in September are likely to be test and demo units for use by Apple and close partners.
