Ipad jailbreak legal?

Hi, I was thinking about getting an ipad mini but I have heard it's not permitted to jailbreak ipads since 2013

Jailbreaking is legal, period. This forum only engages in activity which is legal, so rest assured, you won't get any hassle by following advice given here.

For now, it is legal. What is illegal is unlocking but that does not apply in your case. Perhaps a JB/Root will one day become illegal. At this point, making it illegal would not surprise me in the least.

I say JB that Mini and you will love it. Do not fret.
