Ipad exchange

I am not sure if this is the right section. My girlfriend bought me a 16gb ipad air 3 days ago. I've used all the space already. I was wondering if any of you know if I would be able to return this and buy the 32gb one. It was bought out of asda and still in perfect condition. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Well Apple will usually allow 14 days to return a product, I've done it myself and gotten an upgrade on a MBP.

ASDA..... is this an online shopping site? I'm not entirely sure what happens in this case, but look up their Returns info. I have bought Apple products from resellers and have still been able to return them to Apple under warranty, hopefully someone will know more about this. But you can only try and it's worthy of trying.......is 32gb really enough when you've already filled this one in 3 days? Food for thought!!

You will need all the packaging and also wipe your iPad clean back to factory conditions before you do try to return it.

Thanks for the information. Yeah 32gb would be enough for me for games that I would play or a few movies. Yeah ASDA is a big supermarket. I got the ipad there because of the year warranty and I thought it would be easier to leave back if anything went wrong. I just wish the ipad had an sd slot at least or made it easier to connect external hard drives.

Apple do give a year warranty on all their products.

It's not likely the iPad will receive an SD slot but have a look at these threads and you may find something here which suits you.

I have an iPod (a couple)


I just don't put music on my iPad, they are two different animals as far as I am concerned

although the iPad can do the same thing as far a music, I use it for surfing the net and work/you tube and such
but when it comes to listening to music I have an iPod and I just don't have the desire to play games on my iPad, I have a home computer for that
so 16 gig is very good, would it be better if Apple wasn't so greedy and allowed us to use a SD card so that we didn't have to buy a larger storage unit in $100 increments?...um yeah
but that is the world we live in...but my iPod is small enough to put in my pocket and so are little ear buds....and NO I don't let one hang from my ear like the teenagers now-a-days do...lol
