Hi everyone!

We are about to deploy 60 iPad Airs in two Bretford carts hopefully next week. We have the iPads numbered sequentially to their serial numbers, and are trying to find a way to keep track of them while they are in students hands. We want to make sure we can pinpoint any misuse down to the person who was using it when it was discovered. My original thought was to have a signout book on top of the cart and have each student sign out the iPad as they take it, however it has been voiced that this is too time consuming. I think this is the best option, and will go with this provided there are no other alternatives. It is not a matter of what people think, but of us keeping track of our investment. However, because they are the ones to be dealing with them, we do want to keep the voices of the teachers in mind.

Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

You should be able to keep a firewall up and see the IP address of the iPad..... You can prolly use a parental control
