In case anyone else in UK missed this iPad specific apps are now available on uk iTunes store. I have started purchasing in anticipation.

For all us UK users, i stumbled across this page in the store that lists all the iPad apps available ready to download. No iphone apps here, only iPad:

Yeah, there are plenty of Apps in there, although the official Apple ones are missing (for now). Can't use the built-in iPad app but you can sync through iTunes on a comp. Wrote it up here: Looptron Top Tip #1: Accessing iPad apps in the UK iTunes store. - Hello, my name is Looptron.
