iPad an directv

Anyone heard of any news on streaming content (DVR) onto other devices?

I got the new 2010 model HD-DVR that I have media shared with everything in the home. Would like to stream my recorded dvr content to my iPad.

Anyone else?

There is a sling player mobile app coming to the ipad but that is only for Dish Network subscribers. That allows you to stream content stored on your DVR to your iPad. I am not aware of anything available for direct tv except for if you have NFL Sunday ticket. If you do you can stream live games to your ipad but that is about it.
