Ipad 2 wifi problem

Hi guys..
i have an iPad2 and iam facing wifi problems...my wifi shows full signal strength and still i am not able to open websites using safari.
the youtube app also does not work sometimes.
it was working perfectly from the last 8 months but suddenly i am facing these issues.
i have tried reseting network settings changing wifi passwords from wep to wpa and all other available passwords...still the problem is not solved..
i have a macbook air and htc phone both work perfectly.
help me out guys its really frustrating

Sometimes it's a good idea just to restart your iPad, have you done this?

i have tried to restart my iPad..i have tried all the troubleshooting tips given by apple.
issue is still not solved.

Restart the router. While it is off, reset the network settings on the iPad, as you did before. When the router comes back online try logging into the network again. Sometimes routers decide they don't like the iPad anymore and need to come down with a case of amnesia. This can happen even if every other device on the network is working fine.

still the problem is not solved....i am now facing the same wifi issue of loosing connection while showing full signal strength on macbook air also.
there might be a problem in my router....i have a netgear 450 BX1 router....please tell me how to know about current firmware or how to upgrade the firmware

To update your router firmware you need to visit the manufacturers site and look for their support and/or downloads pages. Each router/manufacturer goes about things differently. Since I don't use your router, that's about all I can tell you. Sorry.

I assume you are on iOS5. I had untold wifi troubles before I upgraded. I seldom have problems since the upgrade.
