I am new to IPAD and basically enjoying. However, I need help as it relates to printing to my HP 6510.

I loaded the HP EPrint and had some success with printing to my wifi/home network printer. When I open a page and try to print now, my printer is 'seen'; I get a message that the page is being sent, yet it does not print. Everything is connected with no lick from the iPad.

My iPhone will send the print OK.

Please excuse my wording and ignorance. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, please advise as to how search for similar post.

Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I have just gotten this printer also. You do not need the app to print. I have just printed a PDF from an email, but when I went to print again, the button was greyed out. I just closed my email app completely and tried again and it worked. Where are you printing from? Close your app completely and try again. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly. Have another try and let us know.
