Ipad 2 keying issues with Times and Telegraph sudokus

About 2 weeks ago my Ipad 2 would not accept numbers in one column(different columns) of Times and Telegraph sudokus. I've deleted and reinstalled apps but without success. Any help appreciated.

Maybe it's a problem with your touchscreen.

Restart your iPad, if this doesn't help, reset it (press and hold Home and Power button until the Apple logo appears, release both and let the iPad power up) and/or clean the screen with a soft cloth.
