If you're thinking of the panorama feature in the camera app, it's only available on the iPhone 4S and above and the 5th generation iPod touch.

Oh,i have an iPad 3rd generation.

There are a few apps on the AppStore you can download which allow you to take panoramic photos on your iPad. Just type panorama into the app search bar.

Look for one called DMD or something like that. It works on all iDevices that I have.

Oh,i have an iPad 3rd generation.

Theres no panorama on iPad 3.
