My name is aysha,just joined the forum,I ope it will be educative n be of help to me.I got my iPad 2 as a gift and it's the best thing so far.but sometimes apple is solo difficult to manage....lol buy it's quite amazing anytime anywhere.....

Please anyone,how do I delete music and movies directly on my iPad?

If you moved those movies and music to your iPad using a sync operation with iTunes, then you need to delete them from your PC first and then re-synch. Only music and movies that were directly imported to the iPad (not through iTunes) can be deleted directly.

You can delete movies directly on the iPad even if you synced with iTunes. Just hold your finger on the movie poster in the videos app until the black circle with an x appears then press the x.

Edit : however you may want to sync anyway because if you bought from iTunes and delete it before you sync you won't be able to get it back.

Thanks for your correction about the movies - I never sync with iTunes so my knowledge there is a little sketchy....
