Interesting 'Today Summary' Widget Anomaly

Moved the Today Summary to the top, hit done and a partial sentence appeared in the weather slot ending with three dots. Left it there, with no change, for a day or so. Then moved the widget to the bottom and back up again. For a couple days now, no weather, and in landscape view, about 20% of date missing on the bottom. Guess it's expecting something in that slot.

Have the Yahoo Weather widget which works fine and even has nice pictures, so don't really need the Weather Channel data. Nevertheless, it's a bit aggravating that it doesn't show up. Am I missing something? (Other than the weather data.)

Sounds like a bug.

If you haven not done so, try a restart or reset and see if it fixes the issue; at least temporarily; until you start moving the widgets around again.

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends you restart the iPad at least once a month.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.

Yeah, 'tis. Suspect a little glitch somewhere. Maybe the next update will smooth it over. Meanwhile the Yahoo Weather widget fills the bill.
