Image/Photo Thread Of Any Images You Would Like To Share....

A few minutes past midnight, and the moon is rising from behind the house on the other side of the street.

That's why I posted them here. :-)
Aren't these all photos from the end of the rainbow?

In the first three photos, the actual contact with the ground is hidden by either the landscape or the building in the third photo. Only in the last photo shows the actual contact with the ground. I think that this photo would be the hardest to capture.

I didn't look at them as close as you obviously did, but you're right.
The last one certainly will be hard to capture, it looks like the one who took it was driving a car.

The thing about the end of a rainbow is that if you were standing on the exact spot where the rainbow touched the ground, you would not see the rainbow as the angle between the sun, water droplets, and the viewer would not be correct.

A very scientifical view of one of mother nature's beautiful gifts. :-)
(I know that you're right.)

Too bad, there's not quite enough resolution to make out the leprechaun... :)

Perhaps he's hiding in his pot of gold. :-) <img src="http://wwwipadforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=45973"/> TwistedSifter
So now we know, it's a bucket of KFC at the end of the rainbow.:D All this time I thought it was a pot of gold. BTW, rainbows only have one side, they're not visible to the opposite point of view.

So this picture is a hint where you can find that pot. :-)

I'm not quite sure about that fact. I've seen both ends of primary rainbows. I posted one part in this thread. Here are both parts:

(I think it's obvious that I didn't post the left picture before.)

What I meant was that rainbows have no backside. Someone in the distance, looking in your direction, cannot see the rainbow that you see when looking in their direction.

Oh, of course not!
I misunderstood your previous post. Sorry!
