Hi Scifan.. - now I know this has come up before, but is this stadium for 'Canadian Football' or for Soccer? Golf is about all that I follow anymore so not up on all of these other sports - thanks for any input (and apologize for my ignorance) - Dave

The stadium will be used mainly for Canadian football. Since the Canadian football field is just as long as and only a few feet narrower than a standard soccer field, soccer can also be played there.

Of course, there's also the possibility of large concert performances.

About 33,000 at normal capacity, with the possibility of expanding to close to 50,000 for certain events.

Well for the Halloween season, this cartoon popped up on my Facebook page - gave me a chuckle w/ the stalemate in the USA Congress for nearly two terms and after watching the first Republican debates - concerning the latter, I guess the caption could be changed by replacing 'Washington Politicians' w/ 'Replubicans' - Dave (sorry, could not resist - I usually vote Democratic although listed as an 'Independent').

Oh wow, already sci! A nice, mild 22c down here today, but after looking at your picture I had to put a flannelette shirt over my T-shirt It's only a few months ago that we finished our winter and we're looking towards a long, at times hot, summer.
I still have "recent" memories of those impressive walls of snow in your back yard, and here you go again!
