What's new

It's not supposed to be snowing anymore. Another couple weeks and it will be April for Pete's sake. We are already seeing 70°+F temps here. Last night when we took the dog on a walk at 8:30pm, it was still in the 60's.

Our weather for the coming week....thank goodness!

I grew up in upstate NY where we had long winters and short summers. I would hate that now and am perfectly happy with short winters and long summers. We still have all 4 seasons here in Cary, NC, but we have a long enough growing season to have 2 plantings and harvests in our garden. I cannot imagine living anywhere else at this point in my life. I'd rather sweat than shiver any day. I would be cold and miserable where you live. No thank you...it's all yours my friend.😊

If you visited me I’d put you to work shoveling all my snow. You’d work up a sweat in no time.:D

St. Patrick's Day in Chicago - been to the city over a dozen times (mainly to attend the RSNA radiology meeting), and have taken probably 4 boat rides on the Chicago River but was never there when the water was green (and I had a 100% Irish paternal grandmother!).

P.S. our favorite boat ride (x 2) was the Chicago River Architectural Boat Tour - a must! Dave
