First Snow of the Winter!

Well, no snow in late 2021 until today - then about 3 inches in the morning (pics below) - last week was like fall so the ground was warm, going into the 40s (F) this afternoon, and much has already melted - we can get 'winter weather' into early March, so hoping for no more! o_O Dave :)

Yep - always in the paper a few days before Christmas, i.e. chances of a 'white one' - can't remember our last snow on a Christmas day - on the average, we get about 6 inches of snow in the winter here, so hopefully this was at least half of that amount, usually coming as 2-3 snowfalls in the season - the worst winter weather are ice storms since we often hover around the freezing point; then the power lines come down and and recovery can be hours if not a few days - fingers crossed (at least I'm retired and not obligated to go to the hospital despite the weather). Dave :)
