Max Bygraves was quite a popular television entertainer, comedian, singer, actor, and variety performer here in the UK back in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. That particular record was produced in 1975.

The massive Hurricane Ida is easily visible on Earth from 1 million miles away as a white whorl at upper-center right in this view from NASA's Epic camera on the NOAA Deep Space Climate Observatory at a stable Lagrange point taken on Aug. 29, 2021 as the storm made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 4 storm. Newspaper Rock in Bear's Ears National Monument, Utah. The petroglyphs were made at various times by prehistoric Pueblo peoples, Navajos, Utes, and sadly some white men's graffiti. The beautiful young lady is my wife; our 50th wedding anniverary will be in November.

Roadside Ruin, an 800-year-old granary (not a dwelling) in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Remarkably well preserved.

Happy upcoming 50th wedding anniversary. May you be able to celebrate your 75th wedding anniversary.

That’s the national monument that was under threat by the previous administration.

I wonder how many more years the Famous Tree has left as most of the branches are dead.
It makes a great silhouette.
It does, I agree.

I‘m surprised it‘s still there. Not only are many of its braches dead, it’s also standing on a field and takes up space. I’m glad it’s there. The tree is a kind of landmark.
