I'm new

Hi, I bought an ipad 1 on ebay a little while ago, and it's great. I'm not very technological and it's been going pretty well, but I now have a problem I need help with

Could I get some help? Here's what happened....I recently changed my gmail password on my home pc. When I went to check mail on my ipad (as I had done before)...I was told I couldn't sign in because either my user name or password were incorrect. I couldn't find a way (on the ipad) to change the password on gmail (in my ipad) to correspond with the change I'd made on my pc. Does that make sense? I figured that it would just change over automatically....so I'm surprised I still can't sign into gmail on my ipad. Any ideas? I also tried to change the password back (on my pc), but it wouldn't let me. I'm stuck. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I assume you are using the most recent O/S (5).

Close the mail app. Use the settings app, Go to the mail section on left, then select your mail account on the right, select on next screen then you hold be able to change your password on the iPad app. Then re-start the mail app.
