Will the case for IPad Air 1 work on IPad Air 2

Height and width are the same on both devices, only depth is different. There are some cases that fit on both devices. Not all of the cases for iPad Air will work on an iPad Air 2, though. You'll have to take a look at it's compatibility, to make sure you can use it on an Air 2.
