HP 1606dn (ish) Ipad can't/wont recognize.

I have an Ipad ( 4.3os) and my father recently bought an HP 1606dn with the plan to Print Via his Ipad. For the life of me i can't get the Ipad to recognize the printer. I can get it to easily print wirelessly via this laptop, his work laptop, and their home computer, but I CAN NOT get the Air Play print feature to "Find" the printer.


I click the button and try and have it find available printers but it just keeps saying no printers on network or something along those lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The printer is hooked up to a Router fyi, with no problems printing via a computer, and it is on the airprint list.

Forgot to mention it's running on windows 7, Also I found the link to enable Airprint via Windows, and NOW i can't get the Ipad to recognize the actual printer. BUT it won't actually print, I got a "Printer is offline" response.

Edit: Now having looked it's using an old printer as the one that it finds. /sigh.

Thats the link that I used. Seemed to work well only now it found my old printer instead of the HP.

Have you tried disconnecting the power supply from the router, wait 30 sec and reconnect?
That worked for me.
