How to play playlists created on iTunes on the ipad?

I do know how to sync from iTunes to the ipad. What I am trying to do is bring several playlists from iTunes and play them on the ipad. Here is a shot from iTunes. As you can see, highlighted playlist on the left, 35 min timer, has a sequence of 8 audio files and lasts 35 minutes. How do I get this edited sequence over to the ipad to play. I have done sync several times, and I get the individual pieces of audio to sync, but this edited sequence doesnt show up there.
