I connected a pair of external speakers to my iPad 12 (wired connection) with the intention of amplifying the volume. I've gone through the usual settings to make sure there is no setting that is constraining the maximum volume. The external speakers will lower the volume, but they will not amplify the volume beyond what the iPad will produce without the speakers. Any advice?
