Hi,

I accidentally must have downloaded a .exe file with safari (ios6). Without jailbreaking (installing download manager, etc) my ipad3 is there any way to check if I have actually downloaded and if yes how can I delete this file. Is there any default location for safari downloads on ios6? Thanks.

Safari is not going to keep any file you download. It does not have a folder to keep it in. It may be cached, but that should go away on it's own as things get cleaned up. If you want to force the cleanup, go to Settings > Safari and Clear Cookies and Data.

The only way to save a file from safari is to use the Open In option, once the file completes downloading. This allows you to copy the file to another (compatible) app.

I'm not sure that is even possible with and .exe file. It is not one of the recognized file types for the iPad; for some strange reason. ;)
