Never been a Mac or iPad owner. Promised wifey an iPad and will get one for myself too. Just a toy for web surfing, watching MLB, emails, etc...

Not sure how much memory to buy. Years of owning computer products suggests buying largest mem available, it seems to fill itself up.

For you Ipad'ers, what do you suggest for mem? In the PC world, 64GB can go pretty quickly with movies, books, music, porn, etc.. (kidding)

It really comes down to what you need (rather than how *others* use their device.) I have a 32G device, which is more than enough for my needs.

I am getting 32GB. I think it should be good enough for me.

I'm also in the 32gb boat...I have a guy who works for me and has the 64 and he as a ton of downloaded stuff and movies and hasn't come close to filling his 64...He told me I'd be fine for quite a long while with my 32 and I'm pretty sure he'll be right on...If I had some extra cash, I would have got the 64 though, just to have it..

I bought a 16 GB generation 1, and it was so not big enough. If you want to save a lot of photos, books, and movies, I would go with the 64GB, since it is only $100 more than the 32GB - considering you are already paying $600 - $700, what is another $100 for double the memory? I bought the 64GB 3G...
