hotmail display name

I have an separate hotmail email address which I share with my husband. When we send emails with either the ipod touch or laptop, the display name comes up as a joint name, however, when we send out on our ipad 2 it comes up as my name only. I have changed the settings in the account in hotmail to display both names,and I have both names in contacts "my info" in my ipad settings, but the display remains in my name only, when we send anything from the Ipad. Can anyone suggest anything else I can do to get the emails sent from the ipad to display both names.
